Training Series on Job Readiness Skills started
In November 14-16 and December 7-9, Job Readiness training was held in frames of the Promoting Integration, Tolerance and Awareness (PITA) Program. The major aim of the training was to prepare trainers which will spread the information and training modules through their peers. This were the first training our of series on Job Readiness and the topic was Interpersonal verbal and written communications. Training involved students from the high education universities and PITA’s youth centers. The training course was led by Partners Georgia trainers Tea Bulia and Irakli Kvernadze. PITA Program is implementing by UN Association of Georgia and with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), while educational and training components of the program are provided by Partners Georgia.

Tea Building for GAU staff In August 1, one full day team building event was organized and conducted by Partners-Georgia for the 35 employees of the Georgian-American University in Mukhrani Resort.

Training for Ethnic and Religious Minority NGOs In April 25-27 Partners-Georgia organized and conducted 3-day training in Negotiations and Convincing Communication in Diverse Environment. The training aimed at capacity building of local NGOs working on the issues of ethnic and religious minorities in Georgia. The participants of the training had an opportunity to acquire knowledge on different negotiation strategies, tools and characteristics for effective communication in diverse environment. The training covered such issues, as negotiation strategies, the main essence and advantages of partner-oriented communication, factors for convincing negotiation and for effective delivery of information. The training was organized within the ‘Promoting Integration, Tolerance and Awareness Program in Georgia [PITA], implemented by UNAG, with the financial support of the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Leadership School - PITA 2015 On December 18-22, 2015, UNAG and Partners-Georgia organized PITA Leadership School. Leadership School has engaged 42 the most active members/leaders from PITA's Youth Centers (from 13 cities of Georgia, including regions compactly settled with ethnic minorities). These young members of PITA serve as leaders and members of the YCs' Steering Committees, and will be engaged in the management of the Program at the local level. Throughout four days, the participants of the School had an opportunity to get detailed information about major goals, objectives and activities of the PITA program. The School also included team building activities, training/workshop in Advocacy and Partnership (with private sector and local government) and Volunteerism, facilitated by the trainers of the organization “Partners-Georgia.” Leadership School is made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within “Promoting Integration, Tolerance and Awareness Program in Georgia [PITA], implemented by the UN Association of Georgia. Training (educational) component of the Program is implemented by ‘Partners-Georgia.’

Public Speaking Training for Notary Chamber of Georgia PG trainer-consultants Natia Gopodze and Vazha Kvernadze delivered a training program in Public Speaking for the 12 selected notaries from the Notary Chamber of Georgia. Training Took place in October 21-24, in Tbilisi.
