Training series for ethnic minority CSOs completedPartners-Georgia in cooperation with the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) finished series of trainings for Ethnic Minority CSOs. Trainings on Strategic Planning, Advocacy, Organizational Management and Proposal Writing and Fundraising were aimed to increase minority representatives knowledge and skills in these areas. Program was funded by Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF).

Partners-Georgia Trainers participated in the International Conference In September 26-29, professionals from all over the world convened in Tbilisi, Georgia, for the 11th annual International Society for Performance Improvement – Europe, Middle East and Asia (ISPI EMEA) Conference. The theme for this year’s conference was “Improving performance in emerging markets” and the agenda included performance improvement experts, thought leaders, dynamic facilitators, and innovative local national entrepreneurs. Attendees came from 13 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S. Partners-Georgia Trainers Tea Gvelesiani and Natia Gopodze Participated in the Conference. With a help of interactive presentation and workshops trainers had the opportunity to raise knowledge in the field of human and organizational performance. Trainers also participated in a simulated consulting assignment about actual issue of beforehand selected client company. This was the first time that this conference had been held in the Caucasus region and Chemonics, in partnership with USAID and ISPI, organized the event.

Team-building for Georgian-American UniversityIn September 21-22, In Signagi, Partners-Georgia conducted Team-building activity for employees of Georgian-American University (GAU). Specifically for GAU tailored program aimed to increase knowledge on team work principles and improve communication skills among participants. Employees of all management levels of Georgian-American University participated in the event.

Summer School for Youth ClubsIn the period of July 1-13, in frames of the USAID funded Advanced National Integration (ANI) in Georgia program, UNA-Georgia and Partners-Georgia organized Summer School for Clubs of Youth Civic Activism Network. Summer School included skill building trainings in communication, public presentations, group management and event management and work in thematic groups of model UN, Social Media, Photo art and Gender. Total of 200 participants participated in Summer School.

Facilitators training for Youth ClubsIn May 8-12, Partners-Georgia conducted Facilitation training for Regional Youth Clubs. Major goal of training was to learn techniques and principles of meeting and discussion facilitation. After training, participants will implement facilitations of various meetings and discussions in their regions. For this purpose alltogether 22 young leaders were selected from the whole Georgia. Training took place in frames of the USAID funded Advanced National Integration (ANI) in Georgia program, in cooperation with UNA-Georgia.

Trainings in frames of the Inovative Education Project startedIn frames of the one year program financed through the Vyshegrad Fund and implemented by Partners-Polska Foundation in cooperation with Georgian and European organizations, on April 24-26, 2013, Partners-Georgia's office hosted the first training event of the program conducted by trainer-consultants Ilona Ilowiecka-Tanska (Partners Polska) and Milena Mitagvaria (Partners - Georgia). Training was intended for 18 school teachers and university-based scientists and aimed to improve the teaching of natural science subjects in Georgian schools by introducing participants to the active learning concept / methodologies and building the skills necessary for their application in the classroom.

Tbilisi Thematic School for Regional Youth ClubsIn February 21-25, in frames of the USAID funded Advanced National Integration (ANI) in Georgia program, UNA-Georgia and Partners-Georgia organized Tbilisi Thematic School for regional Youth Clubs. Partners-Gerogia for participants of the school conducted Training of Trainers. The TOT was aimed to prepare participants for independent planning, design and delivery of various training programs for their peers.
